Founder of The Regeneration

Born and raised in the Hudson Valley, Kyle Calian has always been passionate about the intersection between design and nature. With an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from SVA and a bachelors degree in Environmental Studies and Graphic Design from American University, he has been finding innovative ways to use design as a tool to find sustainable solutions. Through deep research and innovative thinking, Kyle continues to distill complex problems and find tangible solutions. His expertise includes graphic design, systems thinking, as well as user experience and photography.

He is the Founder and Creative Director of The Regeneration Magazine, a publication which highlights creatives, thinkers, artists, and entrepreneurs who are making waves in the environmental movement and changing the conversation about climate change.




Harry Greene

Co-Founder of Propagate Ventures

In 2016, he co-founded Propagate Ventures, which is pioneering investments in multi-species agriculture: we finance, install, and manage organic tree crops on working farms.  In 2016, I graduated from The University of Vermont's MBA program with a concentration in sustainable innovation. Before graduate school, I spent two years as a resident athlete at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center, competing in the sport of Modern Pentathlon. Once an Olympic hopeful, I competed on the World Cup circuit, and at the 2015 World Championships in Berlin.





Ethan Steinberg

Ethan is a startup growth expert who is focused on turning ideas into reality. He is passionate about building purpose-driven businesses and enjoys living at the intersection of regeneration and technology. As an editor of, he is always aiming to share a good story that engages us in the regenerative economy.



Over the course of 25 years, Jenn moved from the bottling line to CFO and COO at New Belgium, the country’s 4 th largest craft brewer. Jenn championed New Belgium B-Corp certification, as well as leading teams responsible for developing and implementing the sustainability management system, corporate responsibility reporting, greenhouse gas accounting, natural resource management in operations and the supply chain, legislative advocacy, and philanthropy. She has a special interest in the intersection of environment, economics, and policy, while at the same time longing for the days when she was the shepherdess of 300 wool sheep on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

Jeremy Kaufman

Jeremy is a design and operations specialist who is intent on building infrastructure for emergent regenerative businesses. With roots in organic lettuce and grass fed dairy farms, he is focused on the interplay between agricultural, economic, and cultural paradigms, working to find leverage in systems level change.
